Does anyone else thing Linda Ronstadt's singing of Desperado in praise of Micheal Moore was an odd choice?
I was just reading the lyrics (yeah, I'm between jobs and have lots of free time), and the song seems to about the songwriter's concern for someone who's gone off on the wrong track and is making bad choices (actually maybe it's more appropriate than I thought).
I don't know what song you would sing to praise Michael Moore because I see nothing admirable about a bitter, angry, dishonest, buffoon without any personal integrity whatsoever, but I don't think I'd pick this one.
Possible Michael Moore Theme Songs

Weren't you the one who tried to hurt me with goodbye

Did you think I'd lay down and die?
Oh no, not.I. I will survive
Oh as long as I know how to love I know I'll stay alive;
I've got all my life to live,
I've got all my love to give and I'll survive,
I will survive. Hey hey.

Everybody Loves Me Baby by Don McLean?
Yes, and the ocean parts when I walk through, and the clouds dissolve and the sky turns blue
I'm held in very great value by everyone I meet but you
'cause I've used my talents as I could, I've done some bad, I've done some good
I did a whole lot better than they thought I would so, c'mon and treat me like you should!
CHORUS:
You see, everybody loves me, baby, what's the matter with you?
Won'tcha tell me what did I do to offend you?
